REASONS AND SEASONS

 

V1.  Life is a progression,

A succession

Of lessons,

That must be

Lived to be understood.

 

C.  For everything there is a reason,

For everything there is a season,

A time for every activity

Under heaven.

 

V2.  God didn’t promise days without pain,

Laughter without sorrow,

Nor sun without rain.

But He did promise

Strength for the day,

Comfort for the tears,

And light for the way.

 

V3.  Remember God’s teaching,

His commandments,

For length of days

And years of life

And peace they will

Add to you.

 

V4.Put on your new nature,

And be renewed as you

Learn to know your Creator

And become like Him.

Let the message about Christ,

In all its richness,

Fill your lives.
