YOUR LIFE WAS A BLESSING

V1.  Your life was a blessing.  I am sitting and reflecting

About the times we shared.  It is upsetting.

But your spirit is alive.

C.  We live again through Jesus Christ.

He is the Resurrection and the Life.

V2.  This is my time to weep, my time to mourn.  It’s hard

Now you are gone.  Please help me Lord to be strong.

Please help me past these times.

V3.  The Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves

The crushed in spirit.  God is the Father of compassion.

And the God of all comfort.

V4.  I know that you are still living.  I know that you

Are resting.  You are dwelling in heaven.

Your spirit is alive.
